it's been a while since I wrote a journal. Normally I use journals to feature art.
How are you? Do you enjoy summer time?
Some Deviant asked me "why are you no longer be active on Deviantart ?" Well I am, of course I am!
But sometimes more in a silent way, searching for images, or checking my inbox.
The main point is there is not enough time to shoot at the moment, that's why I submit images a little less.
When time is there and I'm in the mood, weather or lightning are not on my side. Or I'm stressed/
these days in a positive way, we're moving soon in an awesome new home. .
Another reason is Deviantart.
I enjoy beeing on Deviantart over 7 years and found so many inspiration on this site, oh and all the wonderful artists.
We all know these nerdy days were we get lost here, searching hours for inspiration and find them? YES !
To be honest some days it's hard to find. The reason is that Deviantart changed a lot. To find new photos for my features
I often browse in a few categories on the front page. But half of the images are not in the right category,
the other once are porn using popular hashtags to get noticed and so on. That sucks.
MarinaCoric (I stalk her art like ages haha )
wrote a journal about it and even when she was angry when she wrote this she strikes the core of the matter.
Hey deviant, where is the ART?Dear deviantART, you have finally turned to complete crap. Congrats! You've been going towards this moment for a while now and, yes, you are finally here. I hope you're happy.
I don't think you have the right to call yourself the best art site anymore. Well, for a while now... Once you were and some people still believe it is so. They come here, but quickly realize they've come to the wrong place and even quicker they leave you. You're kind of living of your old glory, but for how long...? You keep making changes, allegedly "improving" the site. But the only thing you're doing is chasing artists away, pushing art at the back, pushing crap to the front, destroying the point of a Daily Deviation... Why would any serious artist want to be here anymore...? Most of them aren't. There's a small number of us still sticking mostly because of each other and feeling bad for leaving you because we started here. We remember the "good times" and naively we believe it might be like t
What do you thing about the changes, do you notice or don't care? Let me know I'm curious.
Best wishes Daniela
